Responsibilities
- Manage raw materials for all lessons at Renegade Kids. Complete inventory and materials distribution to teachers.
- Coordinate with other team members, including curriculum developers and teachers.
- Handle small daily matters (ex. counting beads), as well as larger aims and setting goals (ex. streamlining work).
Requirements
- Available 15 hours/week, more during summers and periods before spring break camps.
- Must teach (lead or assist) at least one month of camp (30 hours/week) and one after-school class (1.5 hours/per week). Teaching is critical to understanding the needs of our teachers and customers.
- Ideally, has own car and insurance
- Can lift at least 20lb – you will be moving materials to and from camp. We use hand trucks to facilitate the movement.
Tasks
- Manage inventory and distribution.
- Prep materials for 200+ children/week during the school year, 50 children/week during camps. Some lessons will require more prep than others (printing, cutting cardboard, counting items, sewing, drilling, etc).
- Prep samples, as needed
- Communicate with teachers for materials pick up and drop off
Skills
- High attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Effective time management and prioritizing.
- Basic tinkering/crafting experience preferred, such as drilling, cutting, basic sewing, basic circuitry. A willingness to learn is most important.
- A systematic, organized approach to work is vital. Workspace must be organized and neat so that we can find inventory. This is a small business run, so we all are flexible and considerate of each other!
- Must have clear, diplomatic communication skills.

- Proficient in Excel, Google docs
- Must pass fingerprinting, TB test and produce documents for an I9. We cannot obtain a work visa.
