The Beauty and Fun Behind Math

For those who love math, and those who hate math... It's math without equations! Explore mathematical concepts using art and practical activities. Build and strengthen spatial reasoning and pattern recognition through a variety of fun games and hands on activities, adding the theory and application of math beyond calculations. We use math to make art, play games, and build. It's a great way to discover that math is accessible. Throughout the week, as concepts are explored, numbers are included in the fun, proving that math doesn't have to be boring. Our Renegade Teachers will guide Renegades as they explore, experiment, create and complete camp projects on their own. This camp has no screen time.

​There is a separate curriculum for 1st-2nd grade and 3rd-4th grade programs. 

Our rising 1st - 2nd graders become familiar with fractions through cooking, learn about grouping with Venn diagrams, use shapes to understand area, make abacuses to see number patterns and play fun number games like spies and codes.

Our rising 3rd - 4th graders explore fractions through cooking, learn about volume and mass using molds, see how straight lines create curves with a sewing activity and play games that allow our campers to learn about money including making change.

Renegade girls offers a handful of scholarships to enable children without financial means to attend our camps.

​CANCELLATION POLICY
​We hope you don't have to cancel! Buying early guarantees your spot and allows us to commit work for our awesome teachers.
  • Cancellations at least 30 days before the first session are refunded minus a $50 fee.
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before the first session are refunded at 50%.
  • No refunds after the session has started.
  • If your child has special needs, please reach out before registering so that we can jointly decide upon a plan.
