Engineering from the Ground Up

​Campers explore simple machines: pulleys, wedges, levers, wheels and axles, screws, and inclined planes with hands-on building. These tools are concepts they will build on for the rest of their lives, scaffolding future building, problem solving, and engineering. Plus, they are a BLAST to play with! What is "mechanical advantage" and why does it matter? Girls leave with a solid understanding of the basic tools of engineering and mechanical problem solving.​ ​Our Renegade Teachers will guide Renegades as they explore, experiment, create and complete camp projects on their own.

​CANCELLATION POLICY
​We hope you don't have to cancel! Buying early guarantees your spot and allows us to commit work for our awesome teachers.
  • Cancellations at least 30 days before the first session are refunded minus a $50 fee.
  • Cancellations less than 30 days before the first session are refunded at 50%.
  • No refunds after the session has started.
  • If your child has special needs, please reach out before registering so that we can jointly decide upon a plan.
